They really ‘get us’ which is a kind of magical intangible thing, but the most important of all for a partnership like this. Our visual identity is the envy of many in our industry. It’s unique, massively memorable and truly authentic to who we are.

A website designed and built for tomorrow’s digital world

Most recently we have worked with YouSeq to redesign their website to stay ahead of the curve. They are close to their customers – they listen, anticipate and create change. We turned this intelligence into a future-focussed design and tech update to optimise user experience and website performance.

Advanced product search and optimisation tools

With the world’s largest menu of qPCR tests and huge growth in demand product search is the most important new feature. Many start their journey with a specific requirement; target, treatment area, format etc. and need to connect products as fast as possible. We remodeled the product content and built an advanced predictive search that suggests products in real time whist simultaneously referencing these different data points.

Search menu interface with a purple background, a search bar with the letter 'c', and a list of categories including 'Custom panels products', 'Canine products', 'Caprine products', 'Camelpox virus', 'Campylobacter coli', and 'Campylobacter coli/jEjunI' in pink text.

This plugs neatly into the CMS where the databases can be continually managed and maintained to help drive product innovation. All search queries are now recorded and can be analyzed through the CMS to uncover new or different search terms direct from their customers.

Intuitive online shopping and e-learning

Even world leading scientists rely on familiarity in the digital world, just like everyone else. When it comes to interface design it’s important to make use of that intuition – so YouSeq’s new product and learning hubs are designed to look, feel and behave like any other popular online platform we use every day. Search, filter, watch, download – the interface becomes invisible and the content is king.

Part of our brief for the new site was to “Users should never reach a dead end on the site and every journey should nurture and enquiry.” We’ve brought everything that’s special about their real-world customer support to the centre of the user experience. Friendly, accessible experts and energising language make the most of every opportunity for connection. Even a product search with no results turns a dead end into an open opportunity.

Connected customer support

GEO and SEO friendly content structure and CMS

Search starts way before the website – the conversation might start on a morning commute, in a lab, via email, through Alexa or Google and on and on. It’s vital to be part of the whole conversation and web content optimization is a big part of that. We make GEO and SEO principles part of our content planning and modeling. How can we connect search demand to product content? How can we capture wider search demand and make content that Google wants to rank, but that also ChatGPT wants to cite or Gemini wants to recommend. The new CMS enables YouSeq to easily turn insights into structured, semantic and technically optimized products, learning resources, landing pages and blogs that people want and search engines like.
